Who You Help

At CMHA-WECB, community well-being is our sole focus. We offer over 20 specialized mental health and addictions programs to serve those with moderate to severe mental illness. We are unique in having a Health Centre onsite to provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and their families. We work collaboratively with community partners to ensure the right services at the right time. Prevention and education are also key areas of focus through our Sole Focus Project, providing mental health promotion, education and training to the community, with a focus on suicide prevention.

  1. The lottery will take place online only during December 7, 2020 through January 7, 2021. The draw will be announced on January 8, 2021 at 12:00pm.
  2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
  3. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
  4. Tickets are: three (3) for $10, forty (40) for $20, and two hundred and fifty (250) for $40.
  5. Tickets will be available at online at www.cmhawindsor5050.com.
  6. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  7. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
  9. Tickets will be sold beginning at 10:00am on December 7, 2020 and ending at 11:59pm on January 7, 2021. All tickets purchased between December 7, 2020 at or after 10:00am and December 17, 2020 at or before 11:59pm will be entered into the early bird prize draws. All tickets purchased between December 7, 2020 at or after 10:00am and January 7, 2021 at or before 11:59pm will be entered into the grand prize draw. It is possible for the same number to win both the early bird prizes and the grand prize.
  10. The draw for the early bird prizes will take place December 18, 2020 at 10:00am.
    • a. December 18, 2020 Early Bird Prize: Prize #1 - $250 cash, Prize #2 - $250 in gift cards
  11. The grand prize draw will take place on January 8, 2021 at 12:00pm.
  12. The amount of the 50/50 will be displayed via the lottery website at www.cmhawindsor5050.com.
  13. The jackpot will have a guarantee of $2,000.
  14. The winning number will be announced via Facebook Live, and will be subsequently posted to the lottery website.
  15. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Kim Willis at CMHA-WECB: (519) 255-9940 x161, or by email at: kwillis@cmha-wecb.on.ca. The ticket may then be brought to 1400 Windsor Avenue, Windsor, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
  16. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
  17. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
  18. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  19. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than CMHA-WECB, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
  20. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: CMHA-WECB Advancement Department and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law living in the same household are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
